The purpose of collecting and processing your personal data
The purpose of collecting and processing your personal data is
- to register your participation in a physical or vitual event.
The legal basis for the collection and use of your personal data comes from
- The General Data Protection Regulation article 6, paragraph 1, point e (collection, which is necessary due to the execution of an assignment of public interest or collection which falls under the exercise of public authority imposed on the data protection officer).
Categories of Personal Data
We collect the following categories of personal data about you:
- General personal data such as your name and e-mail address.
Where your personal data come from
We have received personal data from you. If we do not receive your personal data, you will be unable to attend the physical or virtual event.
The Recipients or the Categories of Recipients
The Danish Business Authority makes use of data protection officers who have access to your personal data to the extent that is necessary to provide their services to us. When you register yourself for physical events at the Danish Business Authority, your personal data is only passed on to our data protection officers.
Storage of your personal data
Currently, we cannot say how long we will keep your personal data. However, we can inform you that we will emphasise how long your data is necessary for the case when determining how long the data will be kept.
Your rights
Pursuant to the General Data Protection Regulation, you have a number of rights in relation to our processing of data concerning you.

Right of access
You have the right to obtain access to the data we process concerning you, together with a number of other data.
Right to rectification (correction)
You have the right to have incorrect data concerning you rectified.
Right to erasure
In special cases, you have the right to have data concerning you erased before the time of our ordinary general erasure.
Right to restriction of processing
In certain cases, you have the right to restrict the extent to which we process your personal data. If you have the right to restrict processing, we will henceforth only process information with your consent – with the exception of storage – or if a legal claim can be established, exercised or defended, or to protect a person or important public interests.
Right to object
In certain cases, you have the right to object to our processing of your personal data.
